Birthday





"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you~" 

When your birthday coming, what first come to your mind?

Celebration, gifts, cake, party, wishes. Birthday was the most wonderful day in our life. It celebrate the day we born. The day we have a new life. The day we have the family. The day that we have our own name. The day that our mother suffering. 

In ancient Chinese society, they are more likely consider the birthday was the day that the mother suffering.  Mother had pregnant and conceived us for 10 months. During that time, their body was under the great pain no matter physically or psychologically. This kind of feeling become worst when the child are going to born. In Chinese, they believe that when the mother born the baby, it consider that they have stand in front of the door of hell, whether alive, or death. This is true statement where some mother was actually death after born the baby. Without our mother fighting in the surgery room, having the both strong physically and psychological mental, we are not able to bring to this world. That is why the day where we are born, is the day that our mother suffering. Mother are willing to do anythings for us,protecting us, teaching us, give us all her best. But, what have we give them? 

Unfortunately, children nowadays do not realize about this matter. When their birthday, they always tend to ask too much. They request everything they want, a good birthday party, a dream prize and so on. They are king and queen when birthday. Every inch of their needs must be fulfill and must over their expectation if possible. They have forget the story behind when they are born, how suffer their mother bring them to life, how much suffer that facing during that 10 months. They will never know until they are become other's mother. 

So when your birthday, please give a big hug to your mother. Say thanks to them but not asking from them. And say: " Mother, I love you, thanks you for bringing me to this world."
